Covering 12 hectares, the GRAMRODE FOREST is home to more than 37,000 carefully selected trees, created to safeguard biodiversity and ecosystems for the benefit of future generations. The forest also includes a wide meadow, restored water streams completed in 2025, and newly installed beehives that support local biodiversity. Over the next 100 years, it will capture an average of 110 tonnes of CO₂ annually. 

And the forest will keep growing — in spring 2026, an additional 8.3 hectares will be planted, further enriching the surrounding landscape and increasing carbon capture.

It helps to address the climate crisis, for which we all bear responsibility. The forest will also protect the groundwater and promote biodiversity, which is under pressure in Denmark. Finally, there is nothing better than going for a walk in a forest where birds are singing.”

The symbol of the “GRAMRODE FOREST” is the oak tree. Like DANISH ENDURANCE®the oak tree embodies strength, endurance, and resilience due to its strong roots and sturdy appearance.
