ENDURANCE ISN'T JUST IN OUR NAME - IT'S HOW WE DO BUSINESS
At DANISH ENDURANCE®, our purpose is simple: To inspire happiness through endurance. For us, sports and outdoor exploration are not only about performance, but about feeling connected - with nature, ourselves, and each other. The same values guide how we design and run our business.
Our mission is to provide lasting performance through world-class products. But lasting also means taking responsibility. That's why our sustainability work is built on clear goals: celebrating the progress we have made while keeping our eyes on the road ahead.

DANISH ENDURANCE FOREST PROJECTS
PLANTING ROOTS FOR BIODIVERSITY
On May 28th, 2024, DANISH ENDURANCE® launched the DANISH ENDURANCE FOREST PROJECT – our long-term commitment to restoring nature and strengthening biodiversity and capturing CO₂. Today, the projects span 20.3 hectares and are home to approximately 62,600 trees.
The projects include two forests, restored water streams, a large meadow and beehives that support local biodiversity. Over the next 100 years, the forests are expected to capture an average of more than 180 tonnes of CO₂ annually, creating a lasting positive impact for both climate and nature. The Forest Project does not offset the emissions from our products or operations.
Discover how the DANISH ENDURANCE FOREST PROJECT began where our own story started and continues to grow with the support and engagement of our team.
SUPPORTING NATURE BEYOND OUR OWN FORESTS
At DANISH ENDURANCE®, our support for nature goes beyond our own forest initiatives. We are proud to support WWF’s Verdensnaturdagen (World Wildlife Day), contributing to projects that protect and restore biodiversity in Denmark and around the world.
We believe that meaningful change happens through collective action. By supporting trusted partners like WWF, we help strengthen efforts to safeguard ecosystems, protect wildlife, and help nature thrive for generations to come.
Every step counts. From planting trees locally to supporting global conservation efforts.

PRODUCTS
BUILT TO LAST, ONE PRODUCT AT A TIME
Every material has an impact - that’s why we choose them carefully, balancing durability, performance, and environmental impact. We are not fast fashion: We want you to enjoy high-quality gear that endures through countless wears.
Want your favorites to last? Our Care & Repair guide shows you how to wash, dry and mend your gear to extend its life, and how small changes like washing at 30°C and skipping the tumble dryer save energy too.
We have already phased out virgin polyester and now use only recycled polyester. Several of our products, such as our Summit Light Ski Socks, Merino Crew Socks, Core Merino Baselayer Set and Aero Cycling Shorts, also contain recycled polyamide – you can see the exact share on each product page.
Most of our cotton products are already made with 95% organic cotton. Only a few of our products still contain conventional cotton, and we no longer develop new products in conventional cotto

TESTED FOR HARMFUL SUBSTANCES
For us, certifications are more than just labels. They are independent proof that our products meet specific requirements.
All of our products are certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 - excluding our cycling wear - one of the world's best-known certifications for textiles tested for harmful substances. This ensures that components such as fabric, zipper, and trims have been tested and proven safe for human health.

PACKAGING
GOODBYE TO PLASTIC BAGS
Back in 2019, we made a bold decision: no more plastic bags. Since 2020, we've shipped more than 14 million products in paper bags instead of plastic.
In 2022, we added a resealable closure, so the same bag can be reused to send a return back to us. Today, every paper bag we use is FSC® certified (FSC® Mix).
A TEAM THAT REFLECTS OUR VALUES
Behind DANISH ENDURANCE® is a young, international team of 75 professionals from 25 different nationalities. With an almost equal gender split, our diversity sparks innovation and fuels collaboration.

SUPPLIERS
COLLABORATING WITH SUPPLIERS TO REDUCE IMPACT AND ENSURE FAIRNESS
It all starts with the materials behind our products. That’s why we collaborate closely with our suppliers.
Together, we work to integrate recycled materials that support our long-term goals. At the same time, every supplier must adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct which sets out requirements for fair, safe, and ethical practices throughout the supply chain.

TRANSPORT
RETHINKING HOW WE MOVE
Transport is one of the biggest contributors to emissions, which is why we avoid air freight whenever possible. We guide our customers in choosing the right fit before they buy, helping to reduce the need for returns. And we are constantly working with our freight partners to find new, more efficient ways to move our products across the globe.
FROM TODAY'S INSIGHT TO TOMORROW'S IMPACT
Sustainability is a journey, not a destination. In 2025, we completed our first greenhouse gas baseline for 2024. This baseline is our compass: it shows where our emissions come from and will guide our future reduction targets. We track our emissions intensity per unit, employee and net revenue, so we can follow our development year by year as the company grows.
