ENDURANCE ISN'T JUST IN OUR NAME - IT'S HOW WE DO BUSINESS
At DANISH ENDURANCE®, our purpose is simple: To inspire happiness through endurance. For us, sports and outdoor exploration are not only about performance, but about feeling connected - with nature, ourselves, and each other. The same values guide how we design and run our business.
Our mission is to provide lasting performance through world-class products. But lasting also means repsonsible. That's why our sustainability journey is built on clear goals: celebrating the progress we have made while keeping our eyes on the road ahead.

GRAMRODE FOREST PROJECT
PLANTING ROOTS FOR BIODIVERSITY AND A GREENER FUTURE
On May 28th, 2024, DANISH ENDURANCE® took the first step in the GRAMRODE Forest Project - a long-term commitment to biodiversity and carbon reduction. Covering 12 hectares the Gramrode forest now thrives with more than 37,000 trees.
The forest is enriched with meadows and restored water streams, creating a thriving ecosystem for generations to come. Over the next 100 years, it will capture an average of 110 tonnes of CO₂ annually, leaving a lasting positive impact on both climate and nature.
In spring 2026, the project will expand with an additional 8,3 hectares of new forest.

PRODUCTS
IMPROVING OUR FOOTPRINT, ONE PRODUCT AT A TIME
Every material has an impact — that’s why we choose them carefully, balancing durability, performance, and sustainability. We are not fast fashion: We want you to enjoy high-quality gear that endures through countless wears. We help our customers care for our products in ways that lower emissions and prolong their lifespan.
To reduce waste and emissions, we have already phased out virgin polyester and now use only recycled polyester. The same transition is underway for polyamide.
Most of our cotton products are already made with organic cotton, and the few remaining products that contain conventional cotton will be phased out at the earliest opportunity.

PACKAGING
GOODBYE TO PLASTIC BAGS
Back in 2019, we made a bold decision: no more plastic packaging. Since then, we’ve prevented the production of more than 10 million plastic bags by switching exclusively to paper.
In 2022, we introduced a resealable design that extends the life of our packaging for returns, and today every paper bag we use carries the FSC® certification — a guarantee of responsible sourcing.

CERTIFICATIONS
ACCOUNTABILITY THROUGH STANDARDS
For us, certifications are more than just labels. They are proof that responsibility and safety are embedded in every step of our value chain.
All of our products are certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, one of the world’s best-known certifications for textiles tested for harmful substances. This ensures that every component - from fabric to thread, zipper, and trims - has been independently tested and proven safe for human health.
For our cotton products, we are in the process of transitioning fully to GOTS®-certified organic cotton and we are almost there. GOTS® is the leading global standard for organic fibers, covering both ecological and social criteria. It guarantees that cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, and that processing meets strict requirements for environmental management and worker welfare.

We rely on the Global Recycled Standard (GRS®) to certify recycled fibers such as polyester and polyamide. GRS® verifies not only the recycled content but also compliance with strict environmental and social criteria throughout the supply chain. This helps us reduce emissions, minimize waste, and ensure transparency from raw material to finished product.
We are comitted to transition our merino wool products to RWS®-certified wool. RWS® ensures that wool comes from farms with the highest standards of animal welfare and progressive land management. It also secures full traceability through the supply chain, giving customers confidence that our wool is sourced responsibly and with respect for both animals and ecosystems.
We will upgrade all our packaging from FSC® Mix to FSC® Recycled - made entirely from recycled fibers to reduce our footprint while keeping the same FSC® assurance of responsible sourcing.

SUPPLIERS
COLLABORATING WITH SUPPLIERS TO REDUCE IMPACT AND ENSURE FAIRNESS
Sustainability starts with the materials behind our products. That’s why we collaborate closely with our suppliers to ensure that sourcing is as responsible as the products we create.
Together, we work to integrate sustainable materials that reduce environmental impact and support our long-term goals. At the same time, every supplier must adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct, ensuring that fair, safe, and ethical practices are upheld throughout the supply chain.

TRANSPORT
RETHINKING HOW WE MOVE
Transport is one of the biggest contributors to emissions, which is why we prioritize low-impact solutions and avoid air freight whenever possible. We guide our customers in choosing the right fit before they buy, helping to reduce the need for returns. And we are constantly working with our freight partners to find new, more sustainable ways to move our products across the globe.
FROM TODAY'S INSIGHT TO TOMORROW'S IMPACT
Sustainability is a journey, not a destination. In 2025, we completed our first greenhouse gas baseline for 2024. This baseline is our compass: it shows where our emissions come from, guides the setting of science-based targets, and enables us to track progress year by year. We are committed to ambitious absolute emission reductions across scopes 1 and 2 , and ambitious intensity reductions for scope 3 and will track emissions intensity per unit, employee and net revenue to stay aligned with our rapid growth.
Scope 1 & 2
Direct and energy-related emissions
We have set an absolute reduction target for our Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions. Total emissions will be reduced by 42% by 2030, measured against our 2024 baseline (tCO₂e).
Scope 3
Indirect value chain emissions per unit
We have set an intensity reduction target for our Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions. Emissions per unit sold will be reduced by 25% by 2030, measured against our 2024 baseline (tCO₂e/unit).
net zero
In the long term, we are committed to reaching net zero emissions by 2050, in line with global climate goals.
